ANTIPOLLUTION CF BOOM
The boom consists in a rope with floats inserted at a short distance each from the other. This flexible support is covered with synthetic flock and the whole is retained by a net of the same fibre,- subsequent layers of flock and net complete the boom. If required the CF can be supplied with a heavier skirt. The connection of the units is realized by assembling the central ropes which come out from the head. When completely saturated with hydrocarbons the synthetic fibre continues its containment function.
The size of U (diameter, length,and ballast of the skirt) varies according to the uses which can be:
- for fixed protection (diameter 40/60 cm) on canals and lakes, along power plant tailraces, industrial plants and desalinators.
- as movable protection (diameter 25 cm) to surround and retain hydrocarbons pollution and/or solid floating materials on lakes, rivers and sea.

 MB Booms and MC Socks
Employment: to surround hydrocarbons and/or absorb spillages in a delimited area. Whit this modular element it is possible to obtain a barrage of the desired length by putting on the extremities by means of loops and snap-hooks.
