D-TYPE SEPARATOR - New Dimensions in Treatment
Systems
Economic and effective treatment in confined
space. With the new D-type separators, Westfalia
Separator Mineraloil Systems has developed
a machine generation which meets these requirements
to perfection – wherever mineral oils
and their derivatives have to be treated.
From the modular design and compact construction
right through to the integration of numerous
innovations, the goal is to save space while
simultaneously separating economically and
efficiently at high capacities. Reduced maintenance
costs, a high degree of operating reliability
and optimized separation efficiency ensure
economic operation and fully take into account
environmental considerations.
Frame, Hood and Drive
The
separator are of enclosed design and meet
the requirements of the classification societes.
The hood is hinged. The separators are driven
by a three-phase AC motor. Power is transferred
to the bowl spindle via a centrifugal clutch
and a flat belt
All bearings are splash-lubricated from
a central oil bath.
